sometimes it's really hard to get out of bed in the morning and i don't know why i even try. i think this is why i should though.

A positive outlook does me little good when it comes to getting out of bed. I may be realistic/practical to the point of cynicism, but I generally believe in the good nature of humanity and that the world is a pretty nice place.
Doesn't help motivating me to get up in the morning though. Few things motivate me, in fact.

I don't find any help in this... All it says is, this is what you *should* do, this is how you *should* feel, which has been said before. It says nothing about why or how, which is what I would need.
